About Teddy
Teddy is about 8 months old and has a glossy black coat accented by a white stripe on his head and a soft white belly that’s tough to resist. He’s about as cute as they come and needs a patient person to coax out his best self. Right now, Teddy is reserved and finds comfort in his crate when people are near—he’s not hiding so much as seeking a feeling of safety. He takes treats gently, sometimes straight from your hand, and is working on his pee pad skills, though consistency is still a work in progress. Teddy gets attached to the people he trusts. If you leave, you might hear a quiet little cry, just his way of asking for company. He isn’t a finished product, but that’s exactly why he’ll be so rewarding to raise. With time, care, and a bit of patience, Teddy is going to come into his own and be an amazing dog. Teddy is friendly with other dogs, but he would do best with someone who understands that shy dogs just take a little longer. He’s a true hidden gem with so much potential. Ready to fall in love?
