About Hazel

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Hazel is eagerly searching for a foster or forever family! This sweet and sassy senior is a high-energy, playful soul who loves to run and chase zoomies—her favorite game is tearing through the yard and destuffing her toys. She thrives on playtime and roughhousing and is as affectionate as she is spirited, making her a fantastic companion for both humans and other friendly pets. Despite her playful nature, Hazel is excellent at reading the room—she’ll settle down and snuggle up on the couch once everyone else has relaxed. She is wonderful with kids and other dogs, especially if they’re on the more submissive side, as her dominant personality shines through during introductions. With proper introduction and clear boundaries, she gets along well with other dogs and is also cat tolerant. Hazel is both kennel and potty trained, walks nicely on leash (though sometimes pulls), and absolutely loves her people. While she may be cautious with new men at first, she warms up with patience and care. Because Hazel is quite the escape artist and can climb fences, she requires a secure yard with a 6-foot fence to keep her safe. Born on October 1, Hazel is a balanced Libra—always seeking harmony in her home. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
