About Jones
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Jones! He is a lively hound mix estimated to be around 2 years old and displays all the classic hound traits—full of energy, curiosity, and a nose for adventure. He's currently living in a foster home where he's working on house training and enjoys the company of the foster's dogs, though slow introductions are always recommended. For Jones, a home with a panel fence and attentive supervision is a must, as he has a knack for digging, just like many hounds do. He's suited for households with older children due to his size and youthful clumsiness, making him not suitable for homes with small kids. Jones cannot live with cats. A wonderful bonus awaits his future adopter: thanks to the Pedigree Foundation, Jones comes with a complimentary 10-week Novice Training course through Rosie Dane Dog Training, helping you and him start off on the right paw. An experienced hound owner who is willing to offer patient guidance and training will make the best fit. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
