About Jones
Jones is a young adult hound mix bursting with classic hound energy and quirks. At roughly two years old, heās in full hound modeācurious, busy, and quick to dig if left unattended. Anyone considering Jones should have a secure panel fence and be prepared to keep a close eye on him outside. Heās currently in foster care and making progress on his house training. He gets along well with the fosterās dogs, though gentle, slow introductions are best. Jones does not do well with cats and requires a feline-free home. Due to his size, youth, and lack of awareness of his own strength, heās best for families with older children rather than small kids. Adopters with hound experience are strongly preferredāJones will thrive with someone who understands the breedās drive and need for consistent boundaries. Good news: his adoption comes with a 10-week novice training course at Rosie Dane Dog Training, covered by the rescue, making him a strong prospect for adopters willing to put in some training time. If you can provide the structure and patience Jones needs, heāll repay you with loyalty and character. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
