About Hercules

Hercules is a gentle soul who needs a patient and understanding adopter. This shy cat prefers to take his time getting comfortable with new people, so it’s important not to rush him. He will thrive in a home with previous cat experience, as he’s easily startled and doesn't enjoy being picked up or handled. Hercules needs a quiet environment, ideally without small children, and appreciates soft voices and slow movements as he gets to know you. Despite being shy, Hercules is playful with other gentle cats. He has a knack for catching peacock feathers and will show his true colors once he feels safe. Over time, he might approach and even lie close to you, revealing his affectionate side. If you’re considering offering Hercules a forever home, be prepared for multiple visits to help build trust. Meeting with the Behavior Team can provide you with tools and tips to support his transition. This caring approach will help him feel secure and loved for years to come.
