Elphaba
AvailableElphaba is a 7-year-old, black American Bulldog with a large frame. She is spayed and her vaccinations are up to date. Elphaba currently lives in Colorado Springs, CO. She has shown that she gets along well with cats and prefers to be the only dog in her household.
About Elphaba
Elphaba is slow to trust new people but warms up quickly, especially if you happen to have treats. She sticks close to her people, enjoying gentle walks and cozy cuddle sessions. Elphaba has strong opinions about canine company and would be happiest as the only dog in the household. She does, however, get along well with cats and has lived peacefully with them before. Noises and barking on walks sometimes make her nervous, but she bounces back quickly with a little reassurance. Her training is solid—she knows all her basic cues and is comfortable alone in the house, usually napping while she waits for you to return. Elphaba loves attention from her humans and snuggling up next to people. She is a great companion for car rides and generally asks for very little. While she likes children, she hasn’t had much experience living with them—so any introductions should be gentle and supervised, especially as everyone adjusts. Elphaba is a fan of fetch and a good round of zoomies before settling in for a nap. Her ideal home is calm and patient, willing to continue basic training, and looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion who mostly just wants to be near her people. Born February 27, Elphaba is a Pisces; maybe that's where all that sweetness comes from. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
