About Haribo

Haribo is a striking Siberian Husky who narrowly escaped euthanasia in New England after a tough transition in a previous adoptive home. His original family was busy, filled with children and cats, and things quickly became overwhelming. After a short and rough stretch in a new home that didn't allow for proper decompression, he landed safely in rescue, where he’s started to show just how genuinely sweet he is. Haribo turned two the very day he arrived—a true Scorpio, known for loyalty and intensity. He gets along well with other dogs and genuinely enjoys people once you’ve earned his trust. Early on, though, he’d rather you let him come to you when he’s ready. With all he’s been through over the last couple of months, nobody holds that against him. He’s bright, social, and would make a great first Husky for someone who’s dog-savvy, especially if there’s another confident canine at home. Training classes in Orford, NH are included for adopters at no additional cost, helping set everyone up for success. Haribo is house trained, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and has shown he can live peacefully alongside cats, dogs, and children.
