About Ombre

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Ombre is a big guy with a lot of love to give and a few quirks that make him truly one of a kind. He can be easily startled by new people, environments, or sudden movements, sometimes especially with men and other dogs, and needs some extra time to settle in when meeting someone new. Ombre can also be prone to resource guarding and may get overwhelmed in high-activity settings. Because of these things, he needs an experienced adopter who is patient, committed to continued positive reinforcement training, and able to support his ongoing socialization. Since his arrival in January 2023, Ombre has made wonderful progress in his foster home, constantly growing more confident. He is house and kennel trained and is described as a curious, loving shadow to his foster, always loyal and close-by. With dedicated and thoughtful support, he will blossom into a devoted companion—a classic case of a pup truly worth the effort! As an added bonus, Ombre’s adoption fee has been partially sponsored, making it even easier to welcome this handsome boy home. Born December 17, Ombre is a fun-loving Sagittarius who thrives on adventure, curiosity, and forming deep bonds with family. Please note your first step is to complete the online application, as adoptions for this loving rescue are finalized at Saturday events for approved adopters. Ombre can’t wait to find his forever person—could that be you? Make their next chapter their best one yet.
