Mira
AvailableMira is a spayed 2-year-old and 7-month-old female Domestic Short Hair with a medium build and short coat. About Mira
Mira has rebounded from a rough start—she was rescued in sickly shape from a municipal shelter, carrying too much weight from worms and unable to see. Mira is now blind, a result of excessive Selamectin treatments, which can harm Siamese cats due to their unique genetics. After months in foster care, she’s now healthy and stunning with her Seal Point coloring. She finds comfort in calm, smaller homes and would likely do best as a single cat, or perhaps with just one other gentle companion. Sudden movement from cats she can’t see makes her anxious, but she’s quite affectionate with her trusted person, often following closely around the house just by sound. She enjoys gentle petting and playing with toys rigged with bells, which she chases with clear delight. For Mira, starting out in a single room helps her orient and learn where her litter box is. She is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinations are current. Mira does not do well with dogs but gets along with other cats if matched thoughtfully. She’s searching for a steady, low-stress home where she can thrive. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
