About Cleopatra
Cleopatra is the undisputed queen at the rescue, with a regal presence that’s just as impressive as her playful spirit. She’s strong and passionate, but in everyday life, she leans much more mellow than you’d expect from a Dutch Shepherd/Malinois mix. Cleo can scale a six-foot fence with laughable ease but would truly rather be glued to your side, poking you for attention, and making you laugh with her silly antics. She’s been around all sorts of animals and kids, and gets along beautifully with both. Cleo’s a pro at making strangers feel like old friends—even her vet gets greeted like a favorite guest. This dog just radiates confidence, and her eagerness to play is matched only by her love of swimming and her need to be touching someone at all times. Cleo does best with other confident, playful dogs. She isn’t a fit for homes with weaker or senior dogs as she can be a bit much if she gets bored. Breed experience is preferred, and she’ll thrive in a sport or highly active home. She’s working on her leash skills, already a fantastic demo dog, and adoption includes professional training in Orford, NH at no extra cost. She’s about 55 lean pounds, will be spayed prior to going home, and is simply unforgettable. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
