About Chuck
Chuck is a young terrier mix, estimated to be about 8-10 months old and weighs around 27 pounds. He recently arrived as a stray but has already started making himself at home. Chuck hits that rare balance—he’s playful with a dash of sweetness and likes to cuddle after getting his zoomies out. Initially shy, he opens up quickly with a little patience. He gets along well with both dogs and cats of any size. Active older kids should be fine by him, and a new family will need to have the time to dedicate to his care, socialization, and early training. Foster-to-adopt homes must live within 80 miles of Adams, NY to keep up with his ongoing vet care and have good veterinary references for any current or past pets. A meet and greet with all household pets and humans is required to ensure it’s a good fit. Chuck is neutered, vaccinated, and received preventative treatments. He isn’t house trained yet and will need someone with time and commitment to develop his best self. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
