About O'neill
O'Neill spent his early years as a tough street cat but has completely transformed into a devoted companion. This brown tiger-striped boy is about 1.5 to 2 years old, now happiest as a lap cat who wants to be near his human as much as possible. O'Neill is very affectionate and will follow you from room to room, always seeking attention. He thrives in a home where someone is around often and continues to become more trusting each day. Given his food allergies, O'Neill needs to stay on a prescription diet to avoid flare-ups, and his adopter must be willing to keep up with this. He appreciates having a quiet, secure spot to retreat to when he gets startled by noise. O'Neill is FIV+, but with good vet care and living indoors, he can remain healthy and enjoy many happy years. FIV isn't contagious to humans; most FIV+ cats do very well in loving homes. O'Neill is currently in a foster home in Plainville, MA, waiting to meet someone who wants a true sidekick.
