About Zula
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Zula’s journey has been one of remarkable resilience. She was rescued from a difficult start, found emaciated and pregnant as a stray, and, after a tragic loss, has blossomed into a healthy, happy dog eager for a new beginning. Still young, Zula can be playful and sometimes gets a bit mouthy or nippy when excited, but she’s responded well to training and continues to learn quick manners, especially walking nicely on leash. She is affectionate, smart, and extremely eager to please, delighting in sunbathing, playing fetch, and finishing her puzzle toys in record time. Her foster highlights that she is wonderfully crate trained, calm during storms and fireworks, and enjoys relaxing in her bed as much as she does playing. Zula has lived with other dogs and has a little playmate who visits, though she can be a bit selective with dog friends, making proper introductions important. She is also reported to be good with cats and children, especially older ones. Zula would shine in an active home with a family willing to provide consistent training (with help available). If you have a spot for her in your heart and home, she’s also eligible for fostering, especially where her energy can be matched. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
