About Charlie
Click apply to start the adoption process. Charlie is a resilient Boston Terrier with an inspiring story of recovery. After being hit by a car and sustaining a fractured spine as well as a traumatic brain injury, Charlie spent two months in the hospital courageously regaining his health. Both of his eyes were saved, although his vision is now limited, and he is currently a paraplegic who gets around impressively well in a wheelchair. Every day brings new signs of improvement, with increasing use of his legs, offering hope that one day he will be able to walk on all fours again. While Charlie does face some challenges with bladder control due to his spinal injury, this too is showing signs of improvement as his condition heals. His loving and determined spirit shines through his recovery journey. If you are looking to open your heart and home to a special dog who embodies courage and hope, Charlie could be the perfect companion. He deserves a supportive environment where his ongoing healing can be nurtured and celebrated. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
