She does NOT have that classic “tortitude” — instead, she’s a purring lap cat who adores people and her toys. She will coming running over to you to plop her body up against yours when you sit on the floor and loves rubbing her face and body up against yours, as if saying, "I'm so happy you're here!". She is just a doll. Initially shy with new people, she will need some time to feel comfortable in her new space - but what a PRIZE kitty you will get with just a little bit of time and patience. She will likely follow the "Rule of 3" when it comes to adopting ANY new cat - 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn routines, and 3 months to feel "at home." She’s FIV positive, but that doesn’t affect her health or life expectancy, and she can live safely with FIV-negative cats as long as there’s no aggression (and there isn’t with her!). She's especially close with her brother Zuko (who is FIV-negative), but they don’t need to be adopted together, as much as we would love them to! Sandra D.
