Despite a traumatic experience where she was shot after becoming frightened, Simone is now fully healed and has left her days as a nursing mom behind. She has shown herself to be a loving mother and now wants her own life to begin. At about 55 pounds, she makes a solid medium-sized companion. Simone gets along well with other dogs she has met so far. While she hasn't been around cats, her rescuers are open to conducting a cat test for potential adopters. She also does well with children.
