Sergie is about 13 months old and weighs around 40 to 45 lbs. He’s a young, energetic mixed breed (Boxer and American Staffordshire Terrier) who thrives on activity and would be happiest with a family that loves outdoor adventures—especially running or anything that burns off his energy. A secure, fenced yard is important, not only for safe playtime with a canine friend, but also to keep Sergie from wandering if he gets bored. He’s crate trained, good with other dogs, and gets along well with children, but hasn’t spent time around cats yet. Right now, Sergie's main challenge is that his current living situation lacks enough stimulation for his activity level. He can get bored and resort to chewing things or trying to escape the yard if left without enough engagement. He’s currently being boarded at a vet’s office and spends much of his time in a crate, which isn’t easy for a social and active boy like him. With the right amount of exercise, structure, and attention, Sergie will settle in well and let his affectionate, loving personality shine through. He’s ready for a home that matches his spirit.
