About Sanders
Meet Sanders, a dapper tuxedo gentleman with an independent streak and a big heart. Sanders has dealt with a few health issues, but he’s handled them with remarkable resilience. Now, he’s looking for a calm home that can appreciate his love for head rubs on his terms—when he’s ready to relax solo, he’ll make that clear. He’s confident, knows exactly what he likes, and will charm you with his food motivation and adorable snack requests. Sanders is FIV-positive, but that doesn’t limit his potential for a happy, healthy life. The virus isn’t a concern in a peaceful home, so he can safely cohabitate with FIV-negative cats. He also manages Feline Stomatitis, a mouth inflammation, with stable ongoing care. Sanders is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and he’s been thoroughly tested for FeLV and heartworm. His birthday falls in early September, making him a detail-oriented Virgo—no wonder he’s particular about his routines. Sanders needs an adult-only home and gets along well with other cats who are gentle like him. He isn’t a fit for homes with children but will thrive with adults who understand his boundaries.
