About Jack
Jack is a long and lean black cat with a bit of a dramatic flairāthink Phantom of the Opera, but with soft paws and a gentle way about him. At five years old, heās learned to show his affection at night, shadowing his human from room to room and sharing quiet moments when the house is still. While heās friendly in daylight, Jack prefers a calm atmosphere where he isnāt competing for attention. He gets along decently with the two male cats in his foster home and will tolerate dogs, though heās proved anxious around very active ones. Jack shows his happiest side in a quieter setting, ideally with only one or two feline companions or even as a solo pet. He could do well with a laid-back, older dog. Jackās backstory is one of resilience. He was returned to rescue after hiding away from his previous familyās excitable dog, who overwhelmed him. Now, in a stable foster home, Jack has come out of his shellārelaxing around the resident dog and seeking companionship from his humans. He enjoys simple affection: head bumps, a warm lap, and nighttime cuddles. Once he trusts you, he offers both comfort and easygoing company. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
