About Bau

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Bau, an incredibly sweet and resilient girl who is truly flourishing in her foster home, though she continues to be overlooked. Her foster parent describes her as amazing in the home—sometimes shy at first, but she quickly warms up to reveal a very friendly and gentle side. Bau is non-destructive and comfortable being left alone for a full work day, and she sleeps soundly on her bed at night, only joining yours when invited. Bau walks beautifully on a leash and is non-reactive to dogs she passes. She listens to corrections well when she becomes excited and pulls. She already knows basic commands and would love to learn even more. While she can get nervous around larger dogs and cars, her foster is diligently boosting her confidence each day. Bau is full of playful energy and adores her toys—especially her favorite cow and chicken—and enjoys splashing in water. She is just as happy curling up for cuddles when playtime is over. Bau is a fun-loving, affectionate pup eager for her forever home. She’d thrive with an active family who can keep up with her spirited nature and is willing to continue enriching her confidence. While her experience with kids is unknown, she may do well with slow introductions to older children who understand boundaries. Fun fact: Born on April 17, Bau is an Aries, meaning she's naturally brave and energetic! This could be the start of something paw-some.
