About Charlotte
Click apply to start the adoption process. Charlotte is a wonderful large female dog who arrived at the shelter as a stray in April 2025. She shines as an excellent walking buddy, with lovely leash manners, and is always ready for a new adventure outdoors. While she may be a bit reserved at first, once she gets to know you, Charlotte blossoms into an affectionate companion who adores giving gentle kisses and soaking up belly rubs. Charlotte has shown calm, collected behavior at various public events and is friendly with people of all ages. She’s always eager for treats—especially if she can show off her tricks in exchange! Car rides are a highlight for her, and she delights in feeling the fresh air with the windows slightly cracked. Charlotte tries her best to keep her kennel tidy and is overall a joy to be around. Her compatibility with other animals is still unknown but can be tested if needed. You are welcome to reach out or visit Allegany County Animal Shelter for more information about Charlotte.
