He’s not a dominant personality but will stand up for himself if pressed, so he does best with friendly, easygoing dogs. Charlie’s playful and curious nature comes out once he feels comfortable, and you’ll catch him pulling little antics, then checking to see if you’re watching. Charlie is eager to make his people happy and has a knack for emotional support. He’s picked up a few commands, and the rescue recommends a round of professional training with his adopter to help him thrive and bond in his new home. Kids over 10 are okay since he’s still working on his manners, and he thrives in environments where he can continue socializing and learning.
