About Bogie
Bogieās got a big presenceāconfident, affectionate, sometimes a goof, and very much his own cat. Adopted as a kitten, he lost his first home due to family health issues, so now heās on the hunt for a lasting match. In foster care, Bogie has done well in a quiet setup, but heās also thrived in busier homes, especially with respectful teens. Heās previously lived alongside a small dog without issues, and with the right introductions, could handle a playful, friendly one again. Bogie should go to a home with no children under 12āheās never lived with young kids and needs folks who respect his limits. Heās fine meeting other cats through a gate but hasnāt lived closely with them. Loud noises like storms and fireworks spook him. Bogie is reliable with his litter box and absolutely loves his fishing pole toy. Lap time is a mustāif you sit down, odds are heāll be right there, purring and kneading biscuits. He enjoys attention and back scratches, but heās not shy about signaling when he needs a break. Heās generally tolerant of being picked up, put in a carrier, or groomed, though he can get overstimulated and needs someone who can read his cues. Bogieās come a long way with nipping, thanks to vet-guided behavioral training, and hasnāt nipped in months. Heās smart tooāhe knows 'sit' and 'target,' and loves activities that work his brain. Born July 24, 2019, Bogie is a Leo, which fits his bold and spirited personality. Heās looking for an experienced cat person who appreciates a cat with personality and offers structure and enrichment. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
