AvailableAbout Ranger
Ranger arrived at the rescue under the guise of being a stray, but every sign pointed to him being surrendered by someone who couldn’t keep him. He showed up in a fresh collar, well-groomed, and with a clean set of teeth. Attempts to reach his former owners by chip yielded nothing. Though Ranger was subdued and a bit downcast at first, he never shied away from affection and accepted being cuddled from the start. He’s a small, adult poodle mix with curly, long gray, blue, and silver fur that will need consistent grooming to stay comfortable. Now approaching 13 years old, Ranger is a seasoned companion. He’s on the quiet side and tends to bond quickly with gentle attention. The rescue requires vet references and a home visit, and usually asks that children in the potential adopter’s home are at least 10—though they will consider the right situation. Ranger is used to a calm environment and just seems to want a steady presence around him. His adoption includes neutering, vaccinations, and a microchip. He’s waiting for someone reliable to give him a permanent spot to land. Click apply to start the adoption process.
