About Twix
Twix is a sweet, shy rescue dog living in Fresno, CA. She’s spent quite some time at the shelter because she’s hesitant around new people and slow to warm up. Once Twix trusts you, though, her real personality surfaces—she’s playful, affectionate, and gladly rolls over for belly rubs. Her favorite activities revolve around toys; she’ll dive into the toy basket and selectively pick out her squeaky prize, sometimes mischievously snagging toys from other dogs when given the chance. Twix loves chasing balls and carrying her toys around. She doesn’t get along with cats and, despite having some dog friends, would likely thrive as the only dog in her new home. With an even mix of energy and cuddle, Twix needs an adopter ready to be patient and gentle. Anyone willing to put in the time will find a loyal friend for life in her. As a fun note: Twix was born under the sign of Scorpio, which may explain her deep loyalty and passionate side. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Twix
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Twix's Shepherd and Black Labrador Retriever background means she will do best in a home with space to play and a stable, calm environment where she can feel secure. She benefits from routine and gentle introductions to new things.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Given Twix's breeds, she needs a yard or access to daily exercise outside. A securely fenced area where she can enjoy playtime and run around would be ideal.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Twix's mix is generally good with respectful children, but Twix herself is shy and would do better in a calm, patient home. She may be more comfortable with older children who understand her need for space.
