We named this boy Lazy Bones as kind of a joke--he's actually a very energetic boy who wants nothing more than to be loved! LB was sadly found scared and hiding under a trailer when he was rescued by our animal control officers, but since coming to the shelter we've found him to be a truly gentle soul. He can be a bit shy at first but warms up quickly when given affection and attention. He's also smart and very trainable--he already knows “sit” and “paw”, likes walking on a leash, and loves treats of all kinds. Lazy Bones also enjoys squeaky toys and likes other dogs, so a canine playmate would probably be just fine, though we always recommend slow intros when bringing home a new family member to resident canines.This sweet boy really needs to get ou of the stressful shelter environment, so we hope his person comes to adopt him soon!
