About Lazy Bones
Lazy Bones got his name as a bit of a joke—he’s got plenty of energy and just wants to be loved. He arrived at the shelter scared and hiding under a trailer, but he's proved to be a gentle soul. While he can be shy at first, it doesn’t take long for him to warm up when he gets some affection. He’s sharp and easily trained: he already knows how to sit, gives his paw, likes walks on a leash, and can’t resist a treat. Squeaky toys are a favorite, and he enjoys the company of other dogs. If you’re bringing home a new furry family member, slow introductions are always best. Lazy Bones is ready to get out of the stressful shelter environment and into a home where he can thrive.
