About Rolex
Rolex is a young English Bulldog with a lot of heart and a stubborn streak to match. Found nearly overcome by heat, he’s since bounced back with the help of an emergency vet team and some much-needed airway surgery—a must for his flat-faced breed. Rolex’s energy is classic bulldog: one minute playful and eager for attention, the next testing who’s boss. He loves his people fiercely, but wants to be the only pet at home. His breathing is much improved now, and while his foot heals from a recent cyst removal, professional training is next on the list. Rolex is house trained and neutered, and his vaccinations are all up to date. This guy needs a temperature-controlled, indoor environment (bulldogs like him can overheat quickly, even at 70 degrees), so adopters or fosters with experience handling brachycephalic dogs are preferred. Homes with children 10 and up may be considered, depending on the fit. He doesn’t get along with other dogs or cats, so a solo-pet household is required. If you’re in the Orange County area and want to help a dog who’s been through a lot, this might be your moment. Your new best friend is just one click away.

Questions about Rolex
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Rolex, being an English Bulldog, is best suited for an indoor living environment with reliable climate control. Bulldogs cannot handle heat or humidity, so air-conditioned homes are ideal for him.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
English Bulldogs like Rolex do not require large outdoor spaces and are generally content with brief walks and bathroom breaks. Over-exertion or prolonged outdoor periods, especially in heat, should be avoided.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Rolex can live with children, but a home with older kids (10 and up) is best due to his size and sometimes rowdy nature. Bulldogs are generally affectionate with children when properly supervised.
