A volunteer writes: Purfect Princess is a beautiful and petite 3-year-old calico who after losing her beloved owner lived as a recluse, receiving basic care from a relative who could no longer continue. When she arrived at the care center, she was understandably withdrawn. But with time, patience, and the dedicated support of staff and volunteers, Purfect Princess has made a remarkable transformation. As you can see in her video, with some gentle encouragement and tasty treats, she's blossoming into a friendly, affectionate cat who truly enjoys petting. This well-groomed, pristine girl is as well-mannered as she is beautiful. Purfect Princess has been through difficult times and will thrive best in a calm, low-traffic home with understanding, patient adopters and older children This sweet girl will then bloom into the most perfect and loving companion. She's waited long enough for her happy ending. Addendum:Purfect Princess is now quite outgoing and even requests a stroll through her ward(see her 2 last videos) whenever possible. What my friends at ACC say about me: Purrfect Princess has made an excellent improvement since her first assessment and, while ever so barely hand-shy, she loves petting, leans in nicely for cheek rubs, and is very treat-motivated for Temptations. She was tolerant with a partial pick-up inside the cubby and, on a second approach, she did give a brief hiss, but then allowed more petting. Purrfect Princess interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior. It could be with you!
