About Poly
Poly’s story began on a chilly, wet day in Westminster, when he and his littermates were rescued from a cardboard box under a truck. Orphaned after their mother was lost to a car accident, Poly braved the cold rain alongside his brothers until a kind neighbor stepped in to help. Even after a rough start, Poly stands out as remarkably friendly and affectionate—he truly enjoys people, pets, and plenty of snuggles. He’s also a rare polydactyl cat, sporting six toes on each paw, which gives him wider feet and better balance (and a bit of Hemingway lore, too). Poly is coping with periodic conjunctivitis from feline herpes virus (FHV-1), but this isn’t unusual for cats and often improves with lower stress at home. The vet believes he could grow out of most symptoms as he settles into a peaceful environment. He’s longing for a family—one ideally big-hearted enough to take his brother Marco, too, so their snuggle sessions can continue. Poly is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped, and ready for a new home. He gets along well with other cats and children. Adoptable in Midway City, CA and nearby areas. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
