About Voter

Meet Voter! This spirited black mixed-breed lady landed at the rescue as a stray in fall 2022 and has since decided she’s retiring from the outdoor hustle. Voter has a strong personality and an even bigger soft spot for fresh air—she craves walks along trails, finds joy in rolling in the grass, and loves lounging outside no matter the weather. She’s not about instant friendships: winning her over takes time, patience, and treats, but the payoff is a deeply affectionate, loyal companion who adores a good ear scratch and belly rub once trust is earned. Voter connects most with people who respect her boundaries, and she’s sharp as a tack—she's ready to keep learning with positive reinforcement in a new home. Kids in her family must be over 13, and Voter does not get along with cats. She’s part of the Rosie's Rule program, so she goes home with a high-tech GPS collar and a Fi App subscription to keep her safe. Voter’s adoption fee is fully sponsored, so she’s extra loved and ready for her second act. Ready to see her goofy side? Catch her Monday Minute video. Voter is a Scorpio, which could explain her loyal and complex personality. Click apply to start the adoption process.
