About Tortoise
Tortoise starts off a bit reserved, but once you earn his trust, he’s a loyal companion for life. His early days weren’t the smoothest, but he greets every new challenge — and human — with an upbeat attitude. He lights up when friends are around, always eager to shout a bouncy "Hi!" Tortoise enjoys the company of people, though he needs some time to settle in and warm up. He’s looking for a cozy environment where he can experience a real home for the first time. Being the only dog suits him best — Tortoise loves having all the attention and doesn’t care to share the spotlight. Favorite activities include playing tag with people, splashing around in water, chasing plush toys, and keeping an eye on those pesky squirrels. He also has a unique shell-like marking on his back that fits his name. Ready for a dog who sticks by your side and brings a splash of silly energy? Give Tortoise a chance to flourish. Adoption could be the start of something special for both of you. Click apply to start the adoption process.
