Luther is a young, male domestic medium hair, small in size, and currently located at Animal Aid of Tulsa, Inc. He has received all his vaccinations and, while he has been overcoming some incontinence due to Manx Syndrome, he remains an affectionate and playful kitty. His unique appearance with no tail and a shorter body makes him especially endearing. Luther’s lively spirit ensures he’ll bring happiness to any family ready to welcome him.

He is a remarkably outgoing kitten who has a zest for play, loves adventure, and seems to be fearless. Luther arrived at the rescue at only 6 weeks old after losing his mother in an accident. His rescuer quickly realized that this little guy had trouble using the bathroom and found out he has Manx Syndrome, a condition caused by incomplete development of the lower spine. Because of this, Luther has no tail and a shortened, extra-cute puffball body that makes him truly stand out. Manx Syndrome also means Luther has reduced sensation in his hind end, leading to some incontinence. While medication and time have helped improve things, he still experiences a few accidents here and there. Despite these challenges, Luther is completely people-focused and adores playing with both humans and toys—he doesn’t discriminate! He’s been thriving in a foster home alongside another kitten, making a best friend for endless jumping, climbing, and wrestling sessions. Luther would especially enjoy a home with another cat companion, but above all, he’s a happy little soul who brings joy wherever he goes!
