My foster writes: Hello! My name is Jinkx! I am a sweet girl who can't wait to find my forever home! I would do best in a home with patient parents who are willing to give me the time and space to open up and show my affection on my own terms. I enjoy sleeping in the sun on the windowsill, playing with all sorts of toys in my foster home (hair ties are my absolute favorite!), taking naps on freshly washed towels, purring when getting pets from my foster mama, and meowing excitedly at my foster mama when I want to eat! What my friends at ACC say about me: I have lived with cats in my previous home. Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy! I have been known to shower my favorite people in love! I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace. Jinkx tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. Her previous person had awesome things to say about her: Jinkx is quiet, shy around strangers, outgoing with other felines, and a litterbox champion. She liked to hang out in the kitchen, played gently, and enjoyed having her coat brushed. In the cat adoption room, Jinkx has been social with humans, soliciting pettings and leaning in for cheek rubs. But she's also showing some stress from suddenly finding herself in unfamiliar surroundings.
