Maddox Life changed suddenly for me and my sister, Madison. After years in a loving home, we were returned when a new baby developed allergies. Our humans were heartbroken, and so were we. I’m a big Lab-mix guy, but I can be unsure in new situations. When I don’t know what’s happening, I might bark to sound tough. What really helps is patient people who let me take introductions at my own pace. Once I realize I’m safe, my true self appears — friendly, affectionate, and eager to connect. I’m house-trained, I walk nicely on leash, and I enjoy calm companionship. Madison and I are being evaluated to see if we need to stay together. If we don’t, I’d do wonderfully with a confident canine sibling to help me feel secure. All I need is reassurance from you.
