About Maddox
This could be the start of something paw-some. Life can take unexpected turns—just as it did for Maddox and his sister, Madison. After spending years in a loving home, both were returned to the shelter due to a new baby's allergies. Although his family was heartbroken, Maddox is bravely adjusting to these changes. As a large Lab-mix, he can be unsure in new environments and may bark to feel a bit tougher. What truly helps Maddox settle is patient, gentle people who allow him to take introductions at his own pace. Once Maddox feels secure, his wonderful nature shines. He becomes friendly, affectionate, and loves connecting with his people. Maddox is house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and truly enjoys calm, steady companionship. While evaluations are under way to see if he and Madison need to stay together, Maddox would also thrive with a confident dog sibling who can help him feel secure and relaxed. What he wants more than anything is reassurance and a second chance at a loving home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
