About Candy

Meet Candy, an 8-year-old black and white Domestic Short Hair who embodies a sweet personality despite her seemingly grumpy face. Though she may greet you with a raspy “smoker’s meow”, this lovely lady is relaxed and genuinely happy. Candy found herself abandoned behind a BJs store, but thanks to Animal Friends of Lansdowne, she’s now safe and gaining health in foster care. Her true joy comes from being close to people—she’s all about companionship and wants to be by your side at all times. While toys and other cats don’t pique her interest, Candy is eager for human friendship. If you’re searching for a loyal companion to sweeten your life, Candy is ready to bring warmth to your home.
