We often wonder what the back story is to the cats that end up in our program, especially when they are extremely sweet and friendly. Were they dumped? Did they get lost? Did they belong to someone who passed away? These thoughts ran through our mind when we met Reecie today. She is emaciated and we could feel every bone in her tiny body but she is a sweetheart who is comfortable around people and does well with other cats. We’re not sure if the name, Reecie, matches her gentle personality. Considering her sweetness and the kindness of her rescuer, we feel the name ‘Hope’ suits her better.
