About Fennel

Meet Fennel! This charming 2-year-old male cat is a lovable addition to the Animal Friends family. Rescued by our Humane Investigations Team, Fennel has quickly become a favorite with his playful personality and friendly demeanor. It’s important to know that Fennel has Myotonia Congenita, a hereditary neuromuscular condition that causes him to wobble as he walks. His condition requires a special home where he can be monitored, especially as he uses the litter box and tackles daily tasks. Thankfully, Fennel doesn’t let this hold him back from being affectionate and enjoying the company of people. Currently, he shares his foster home with another special needs cat, Rutabaga, and he could be adopted with him if you're interested. As one of Yana's Special Felines, Fennel's adoption fee has been covered, and he will come home with a starter kit specially tailored to his needs. Interested adopters should know that Fennel is friendly, playful, and navigates his surroundings well. Fennel's foster mom describes him as a delightful companion. To meet this wonderful cat, schedule an appointment through our Adoption Department. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
