About Ellington

Ellington knows better than most how much a home matters. This sleek black cat, once lost and alone, managed to find shelter by slipping in through a stranger’s cat door, curling up for a real rest under their dining table. That lucky break led him to safety and now, to you. The folks who found him couldn’t keep Ellington, but he made an impression as an easy-going, lovable companion. Now that he’s settled back into house life, Ellington shows off his playful, athletic streak, along with a gentle, gentlemanly vibe. He’s fully vetted—negative on tests, up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped. Ellington gets along with other cats when properly introduced. After fending for himself, he’ll eat pretty much anything he can, so a mindful feeder is needed, plus someone ready to help him unlearn his escape artist ways, keeping him safe indoors. Born in August, he’s a classic Leo—bold and ready for the spotlight. Ellington is waiting to be your forever panther. Click apply to start the adoption process.
