About Gigi

Meet Gigi! This beautiful girl came to Animal Friends through our Humane Investigations Team, emerging from a tough situation. Initially, she faced nerves that made trusting humans and enjoying walks a challenge. With time and loving care, Gigi has blossomed into a favorite among staff and volunteers. You can often spot her enjoying long walks with her handlers, playing ball in the park, or taking joyful car rides around town for a treat. Gigi is a lively and playful companion, perfect for a home with children aged 13 and older. She will need several meet-and-greet sessions to build trust, as her past has made her cautious about newcomers. Gigi prefers to be the only pet in the household, as she is not fond of sharing her space with other dogs or cats. As one of our Extra Loved residents, Gigi receives that little bit of extra care and attention. A generous donor has sponsored her adoption fee to ease her transition into a loving home. She is also a participant in Rosie's Rule, which provides her with a Fi Smart Dog Collar—complete with GPS functionality—to help ensure her safety once she finds her forever family.
