About Emma
Emma has overcome a few bumps in the road, but she’s ready to find someone who can see the gentle, loyal heart underneath it all. Right now, she’s being treated for heartworm, and storms can leave her a little anxious—give her a quiet voice and a cozy spot and she’ll settle. Emma does best in calm environments as the only animal in the home. When you take her out in the grass, she lights up and happily soaks in every step, tail wagging and nose busy. She stays close, trusting and quietly attentive, never pulling for more than the closeness you offer. Stability will mean the world to Emma, and she returns patience with deep loyalty. If you want to see a dog bloom under gentle care, Emma will be there every step of the way, eager for a new beginning. Your new best friend is just one click away.

Questions about Emma
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Emma, as a large mixed-breed dog, will be happiest in a home that offers plenty of stability and a calm atmosphere. Because she prefers to be the only animal, quiet homes without other pets are ideal.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Large mixed-breed dogs like Emma appreciate having access to a yard or regular walks in open spaces. While she enjoys exploring outdoors, she is also content as long as she gets daily walks and some grass to sniff.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Emma’s breed type can sometimes do well with children, but Emma herself thrives best in calmer, quieter environments without small children. An adult-only or older-children home would be best for her comfort.
