After being adopted as a puppy, he was returned to the rescue four years later when his family’s kids grew too busy for him. Over the years, Kuzco has developed into an athletic, energetic dog who loves to play catch and run outside. He thrives with room to roam and gets the most out of life in a home with a fenced yard where he can chase after toys and enjoy real outdoor time. Kuzco is especially well-suited to families who are active and like to spend quality time outdoors. He’s shown himself to be friendly with kids (especially older children who play with him). While Kuzco enjoys the company of other dogs, he can be selective—his kennel experience has made him a little choosy about canine friends. When he’s not on the move, he’s affectionate and loves to cuddle up beside you on the couch or at the end of the bed. He responds to basic commands, is house-trained, neutered, and his vaccinations are current. Born on February 13, he’s an Aquarius—expect independent streaks and plenty of energy.
