About Mikey
Mikey is a quirky little character with a sweet, playful streak. He can be shy at first, but with patience, he opens up and gladly accepts belly rubs and attention. His favorite things are back scratches, catnip (and catnip bubbles), feather wands, and laser lights—classic kitten fun. Mikey's got this endearing chatter when you give him a good scratch, reminding you he's still very much a big baby at heart. Mikey gets along well with other cats and could benefit from a kitty friend to continue learning healthy play—he hasn't had the usual kitten socialization, so his style can get a bit rowdy, but he responds well to gentle guidance. He’s primarily looking for a patient, caring home that will give him time to settle in and feel safe. He’s recently had a check-up, and the vet noted he’ll need some dental care. Rather than have him wait for procedures before meeting his family, the rescue wants him to start his next chapter now, knowing his new people can help wrap up the dental work with their vet when settled. Mikey is based in Orange City, FL. Ready to make Mikey part of your home? Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
