About Trumpet

Trumpet, affectionately known as Truman by his foster family, is a unique dog with a gentle spirit and a heart that opens up gradually. He’s not one to rush into cuddles; instead, he requires a family that understands his need for space and will allow him to warm up at his own pace. What sets Trumpet apart is his bond with other dogs. He thrives when he has a canine companion, making him a great match for a home with another dog to help him feel secure and confident. Meeting Trumpet is a thoughtful process to ensure mutual comfort: - First, he meets just the humans. - Next, he introduces himself to the humans and any resident dogs. - Finally, a full-day playdate confirms that everyone is ready for each other. While Trumpet may be shy initially, he reveals his lovable side as he adjusts. This medium-sized boy is gentle and affectionate when he feels safe, making the wait absolutely worthwhile. His foster mom shares that he is wonderful with other dogs and enjoys being involved in everyday activities like watching TV or playing outside. He’s calm enough to sleep happily in his kennel at night. If you’re looking to welcome a sensitive pup who simply needs a bit more time to blossom, Trumpet could be the perfect addition to your family. His adoption fee is $500.00. What are you waiting for?
