About Louie
Louie is a loyal and cuddly companion who’s been through a lot. Rescued after being abandoned on the highway, he’s worked hard with loving fosters to move past his rough start. The patience and care he’s received have helped him come out of his shell—now, he’s showing his playful and affectionate side. Louie is still unsure around new people and depends on his trusted person for reassurance, but he’s at his happiest during car rides, on walks, or playing in the yard with his foster brother. For Louie, a quiet home is best. He isn’t suited for families with cats or young children, and he’ll need an adopter who’s willing to continue building his confidence through ongoing training. If you’re a calm, gentle soul with room in your life for a sensitive friend, Louie is hoping you’re the one. Your new best friend is just one click away.
