About Ryleigh Ii
Ryleigh II is an 8-year-old white Boxer with a complicated past looking for a place to call home. She came to the rescue after an abusive situation, then found herself in another stressful environment where the resident dogs have not welcomed her. Protective and a bit nervous, Ryleigh II tends to be selective about canine company—she struggles with other dogs and likely needs to be the only dog in her next home. She does great with older kids like the 15-year-old in her current foster setting and ignores cats outside, but will chase them indoors, so a home without cats is best. Timid with strangers, she takes some time to warm up but eventually settles in. Ryleigh II is house trained and sleeps peacefully inside now, even though she used to sleep outdoors. She’s handled being left alone without issues and behaves calmly in the yard. Loud sounds like thunder and fireworks scare her, but she enjoys riding in the car. If you’re patient and ready to help her feel secure, she’s waiting to meet you. Your new best friend is just one click away.
