**Meet Uma** Uma joined us as our Christmas ‘24 rescue, and from the moment we met her, we knew she deserved a fresh start. She had recently lost her puppies and was healing from wounds on her face—evidence of a past we’ll never fully understand. But what we did know was that her future would be filled with love, comfort, and kindness. Uma is, quite simply, the sweetest girl on the planet. She adores people, showering them with affection and the best cuddles. She’s a dream on a leash, loves to give hugs, and soaks up every bit of attention she can get. She’s ready to be part of a family, to experience the joy of a home, and to finally have the life she’s always deserved. Uma would thrive as the only dog in her home. After everything she’s been through, she’s still working through her feelings around other dogs and can be reactive when she sees them.
