About Uma
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet uma! Uma came into rescue during Christmas ‘24 after a difficult start in life, having recently lost her puppies and bearing wounds on her face—reminders of a past she is now leaving behind. From her first day with us, it was clear she deserved a future filled with love and compassion, and her gentle spirit is impossible to ignore. Uma is truly a sweetheart who adores people. She’s affectionate, relishes snuggles, and is always eager for hugs and attention. Uma is wonderful on a leash and never misses a chance to bask in the sun or enjoy a good roll in the dirt. She also loves car rides, making her an ideal adventure partner ready to join you on outings big and small. After all she's survived, Uma is still working on her comfort around other dogs. She would do best as the only dog in her home, so she can enjoy all the love to herself. Her history may have left her sensitive, but her capacity for affection is enormous. She is both crate and house trained, making her easy to welcome into your household. Give Uma the fresh start she so dearly deserves—a loving family, a safe home, and the warmth of belonging. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
