About Streetcar Stella
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Sweet Streetcar Stella was found by a Good Samaritan and, after a journey through an emergency clinic and the Austin Animal Center, has found her way to APA where she's charming everyone she meets. Stella was likely hit by a car, resulting in pelvic limb paralysis, but her resilient spirit keeps her on the move and eager for adventure. Stella delights in meeting new people—she brightens up when her friends visit. She's done well interacting with children and absolutely loves company. Outfitted with her own set of wheels, she's up for a jog or stroll whenever the weather is nice. Playtime is high on her list, especially if squeaky toys or games of fetch are involved—sometimes she prefers a rousing game of keep away, depending on her playmate. With her upbeat, goofy personality, Stella brings happiness to everyone around her and will never turn down a treat or snack. Due to her past injuries, Stella is urinary incontinent and needs assistance being expressed, but she’s able to have normal bowel movements. Caring for her is made easy with a system the rescue team is happy to teach. Throughout her treatment, Stella has remained sweet, friendly, and tolerant of all medical procedures. She is still on the path to recovery, and her greatest wish is for a foster or adoptive home where she can continue to blossom. Are you ready to open your heart and home to Streetcar Stella? They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
