About Starlight
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Why wait for the gentle twinkling of the stars at night when you could be enchanted 24/7 with Starlight herself? She would relish the opportunity to brighten your life and would not disappoint. Starlight was adopted as a puppy and then found a few years later as a stray. Needless to say, she was a little nervous about things at first but has grown in confidence with the love and care from all her staff and volunteer friends at APA. And what's not to love? This house-trained little girl has terrific leash manners, gets along with other dogs when given a slow introduction, and is so smart she makes training look like child's play. She's already a pro at sit, down, place, wait/stay, and recall. She loves to play fetch, go on long walks, explore all possible scents in the yard, entertain herself with toys, and run through an agility course. Nothing, however, compares to curling up next to her person and feeling the comfort, love, and security she's been waiting for. If you're ready to brighten your life, come meet Starlight today. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

Questions about Starlight
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever mixes thrive in homes where they have plenty of companionship and ways to exercise both body and mind. They are suitable for families, singles, and often do well both in houses with yards and larger apartments with access to outdoor activities.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
This mix enjoys regular outdoor activity and access to a yard, but they can adapt to apartment life if they are given daily walks and playtime. A fenced yard is ideal for extra play and exploration, but is not strictly necessary with good walks and outings.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Both Staffordshire Bull Terriers and Labrador Retrievers are generally known for their affectionate and gentle nature with children. Supervised play and respectful boundaries help create a great bond between dog and kids.
