About Rhyno

Rhyno is an 18-month-old Labrador Retriever mix, weighing around 80 lbs, with plenty of puppy energy packed into a big frame. He’s neutered and fully up to date on all his vaccines and preventatives. Rhyno lives to make his person happy and picks up new things quickly. He’s both house and crate trained and easy on a leash. Expect lots of kisses and requests for belly rubs—he’s an unabashed lovebug. His start wasn’t perfect: picked up as a stray in Texas with a broken jaw, Rhyno’s injury eventually healed with a crooked charm that just adds character. He enjoys the company of other dogs. However, because he’s so big and doesn’t always know his own strength, Rhyno is better suited to homes without small children. Still, if you’re looking for a loving, loyal buddy, he’ll repay you tenfold. What are you waiting for? Apply today!

Questions about Rhyno

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Lab mixes like Rhyno are adaptable but thrive in homes with room to move and active people. He’ll do well with a yard or frequent walks to accommodate his energy.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

Rhyno, being a large Labrador Retriever blend, needs daily exercise and benefits from a fenced yard or regular outings to burn off that puppy energy.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

While Labs are generally great with kids, Rhyno is best suited to homes without small children since he’s large and sometimes forgets his size.
