About Martha
Martha arrived at the rescue with her tiny kittens, having carefully guarded them in the trunk of a classic Firebird—so there’s a little adventure already in her story. She’s about a year old now and more than ready for a place to settle in. Martha’s the kind of cat who’ll win you over with her gentle nature and her willingness to share affection, even if she starts out a little shy. Once you make it onto her list of trusted people, you’ll have a devoted lap companion and a cat who loves to “chat” with you. She’s got a thing for making biscuits (which inspired her name) and is surprisingly athletic—don’t be shocked if she decides to fetch or show off her soccer moves. In her foster home, Martha hasn’t had much experience with other cats or dogs, so a careful introduction is important if you have other pets. She’d also be perfectly happy as your only feline. She’s been a devoted mama, but now it’s Martha’s turn to shine and get some well-deserved love in return. Click apply to start the adoption process.
