About Nilo
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Nilo is a sweet senior gentleman with a calm soul and a spark of joy that still shines bright. Despite his age and a few medical challenges, he has a huge love for life and his foster family says he's been blossoming beautifully. Since starting his medications, Nilo has become more mobile, more expressive, and even gets the zoomies! Yes, this silver-muzzled sweetheart still has his silly moments. He's all about the simple pleasures: soft beds, warm company, cozy naps, and gentle affection. Nilo does wonderfully in a peaceful home where he can move at his own pace. He may need a little extra help getting up due to weakness in his hind legs, but once he's up, he walks happily and with determination. He's alert, bright, and always grateful for attention. Nilo is considered a hospice dog, meaning he lives with chronic age-related conditions and ongoing medical needs, but he absolutely has quality of life, along with so much love to give. If you have room in your home and heart for a gentle old soul, Nilo would be honored to spend his golden time by your side. Born September 2, Nilo is a thoughtful and dedicated Virgo—no wonder he takes joy in sweet routines and gentle companionship. He's ready for comfort, love, and a warm family to call his own.
